This is what I saw in the garden on Thursday when I got back from work. Lily was initially excited but quickly realized who were the bosses.
These goats belong to our neighbour and they regularly explore the surrounding area on their own when they fancy it! Because they are goats!
Today we got a bone from the butcher..... maybe a bit too big??
On the topic of belonging somewhere and whether our family is not belonging anywhere, I would add that maybe we are just a family that can root ourselves and feel at home and belonging wherever we are. Just because you never move anywhere doesn't mean you feel better...you just don't know of anything else! At least we try and decide where we like it best and it happens to be in many corners of this planet! Nothing wrong with that!
