The wind is blowing and it's raining hard tonight. Nice to be inside with a real log fire. This is the view over Manchester at night from our bedroom window.
It is about 18 km to Manchester but thankfully just 15 minutes walk to the station and 26 minutes on the train. And considering the train fares are the highest in Europe in the UK I'm lucky only to have to pay only 20 kr for my train ticket each way.
