Waiting...

I can't wait to move now. Things are happening slowly with all the solicitors involved. Buying properties in the country is a hassle as there always seems to be issues with who owns what (such as bits of road and bits of fields here and there!)

Our neighbours here are really sweet and have organised a farewell party for us. Almost seems a shame to move! But I feel less an less attached to the house now, which seemed impossible before we decided to sell, but you just get used to the thought of moving as the weeks go by.

Tomorrow we are going to have a look at William's new school.
Exciting!

I wish that I could buy your kitchen and have it teleported to our home!!!
I hope that the new kitchen will be as nice as your old kitchen... But if not, I'm sure you'll redo it!

The kitchen in the new place is not quite as functional as in our current house. We will need to put in some extra cupboards and maybe a free standing butchers block in the middle. It does have a 4 oven AGA (to buy it new would be a staggering £8000!!) and that certainly makes the kitchen feel increadibly cosy. What is nice though is how it flows into the next room, the dining room/hall/cosy room which has a woodburning stove and room for a sofa as well as table and chairs.
